Artists' Boutique

I am participating in an Artists' Boutique on Saturday, Nov 8 from 10am to 6pm with several other artists! Come find some great hand-made gifts!

Summer Dog Feet - by Maggie

This is part of the 'Summer Feet' series and is perhaps one of the best of the bunch! I cannot take credit for it, however. It was taken by one of my foot models - Maggie - her feet are featured in 'Superstar Summer Soccer Feet' and 'Summer Feet on the Rocks'.

Pre-school art museums

I work with kids so I think I see more art on a daily basis than most people.  Kids are always open to creation - a blank piece of paper never seems to intimidate but allows instead the chance to dive into a new colorful world.  The images kids create never cease to amaze and entertain me.  My favorite 'museums' are the pre-school art shows held at the end of the school year.  Here is a taste of what I have seen!

Grampa Percy: Artist

My maternal grandfather never claimed to be an artist. In fact, I don't recall him even using the word art. Ever. But I believe he was an artist. In nearly every birthday and holiday card he sent to me he included a drawing. These shown here are from a group he did for me upon my request just a few months before he died in 2002 at the age of 89. I imagine his thoughts looked much like these drawings .
