1967 animation art is really fun to look at.
I read an interview with Frank Tashlin, the guy who wrote this story way back in 1946. I guess he was disappointed in the cartoon version. The bear smoking upset him the most. He wasn't anti-smoking, he just thought that a bear who wasn't a man wouldn't smoke a cigarette. I agree.
But it's still an awesome cartoon with a good message to live by: Don't let the world try to create your own personal reality. (Which it will try to do every F'ing day.)
